Great location. This was a wonderful place to get away from it all. We kayaked down the creek several times and enjoyed the iconic ozark rock cliff views!

Owner's Response: Thanks Michelle! We appreciate the great review. The Ozark Mountains are so beautiful and the steep bluffs abound our property continually amaze us. I am not sure how far you kayaked, but we like to paddle down to where you can float under the overhanging bluffs and get gently sprayed to cool off on a warm day--awesome. We appreciate your business very much and are so happy to hear you are planning a return trip. Well leave a light on for you!
Beautiful cabin and amazing scenery.
We did not want to leave and have already inquired about dates in the Spring and early Summer. This is a beautiful cabin with a creek in front and the scenery is amazing. We did ride abouts all over the place looking at the scenery and the leaves were just starting to change. Each day we could see a difference in the colors. It was simply amazing. We went to the Norfork State Park and Dam and the Bull Shoals State Park and Dam. We also went to the Bean Festival in Mountain View and had a lot of fun. The cabin has everything you could possible need. The cabin is extremely nice and very well taken care of. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone.

Beautiful cabin and amazing scenery.
We didn't want to go home. We had such a great time. The leaves were starting to change and you could actually see the difference in colors each day. It is so beautiful. We loved the cabin, creek, scenery and the privacy. There is so much to see. We rode around on Friday from Calico Rock to Norfork over to Bull Shoals and back to Calico Rock down to Mountain View and back to the cabin. We went down side roads and took ride abouts up and down the mountains. We saw Bull Shoals State Park and Dam. We also saw Norfork State Park and Dam. There is such beautiful scenery and wildlife. We saw deer, hogs, squirrels and an eagle. We went to Mountain View on Saturday to the Bean Festival. We had a lot of fun. We went through the mountains to Melbourne and back to Calico Rock to the cabin. We saw so much beautiful scenery. It was amazing. We want to come back in the Spring or Summer and stay for a week or so. The guys want to fish and we want to relax and stick our feet in the creek. We highly recommend this cabin. Great place for seclusion, peacefulness and relaxation
We wanted a place that was off the beaten path and this such a perfect find. We went to Pigeon forge tn two years ago and while beautiful it is a tourist trap. Piney creek cabin was off the beaten path. Several days we didn't even leave the property because the creek, the fire pit and general exploring kept us and a five year old busy. Fishing was awesome. Swimming was great. Just a touch chilly for our Florida blood but we got in albeit slowly and the five year old didn't even notice. The cabin was great. The second story loft was fascinating for the five year old. If you want privacy, and no distractions from hustle and bustle this is perfect. We were able to enjoy nature and each other's company like we were the only people on earth. It was fantastic and would recommend and will return without hesitation.

A perfect weekend getaway
My boyfriend and I came here to enjoy an early Valentine’s Day weekend together! This cabin and property is so beautiful—so secluded, quiet, and peaceful. We really had a wonderful time admiring the beautiful scenery, playing and fishing in the creek, and sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. We ventured into town for breakfast one morning at Between the Buns—it was really good! We also rented a boat and fished for some trout on the White River. We had such a fun and relaxed weekend! We already are planning our next trip back. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin and property with us! Kristin and Chris Tulsa,OK

Owner's Response: Thanks so much Kristin and Chris--what a wonderful review! We love hearing that our guests really appreciated Piney Creek, our cabin, and of course all the beautiful scenery. Glad you made good use of the fire pit (our son is there now chopping wood to keep a big stack ready for everyone). We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
AWESOME CABIN RIGHT ON THE CREEK
My family stayed at this cabin and loved it! It is so quiet and private. We fished and played in the creek daily, and never saw any other people. Afterwards, we'd sit on the rocking chairs and watch the birds and squirrels in the huge yard. A couple of deer wandered through there too. In the evenings, we enjoyed the bbq grill and the firepit. In fact, we ate most of our meals outside on the picnic tables. We talked and laughed under the stars every night. The cabin itself was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Our last vacation cabin had only one bathroom...believe me, it was much nicer having two bathrooms! The kitchen has everything you need and there's a large dining table that we used for board games. It was a great getaway, and we are already talking about another visit to this peaceful cabin in the woods!

Planning the next trip
Sometimes, if you get lucky, you find a gem - A place you call home, even if it is temporary. We found such a place. A wonderful cozy cabin on the beautiful Piney Creek, in Calico Rock, AR. My husband and I needed a break from this crazy world, just to decompress. I just happened to find this magical place during a frantic search on the Internet. Some divine intervention, for sure. Everything we could ask for was provided. The owners, the Maxwells, were awesome and easy to work with. I must admit I was hesitant to share this place with everyone, but that would not be fair. So I will be unselfish and tell you quite frankly, you owe yourself the experience of the Piney. The town folk are quite welcoming & Cleanliness of the Cabin - Bonus!!!!
